以下為UQ最新的E-Bulletin。有些信息非常重要，威久老師進(jìn)行了解讀：
DEAR PARTENRS,

1.The Faculty of Business, Economics & Law 的IELTS要求提高：IELTS6.5分(單項(xiàng)不低于6分)。
The Faculty of Business, Economics & Law will increase its English language requirements for all BEL programs (excluding the LLB) for the Semester 1, 2011 intake and onwards:
IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no sub band lower than 6.0
TOEFL iBT = 90 overall and nothing less than 21 in all bands
These changes will become effective from the 1st of April 2010. Any applications received by UQ International Admissions up to 5pm AEST on the 31st of March will be assessed under the current English requirement guidelines.
 
2. UQ Foundation目前不再開設(shè)Extended課程(IETLS5分學(xué)生必須加讀非語言直升班）。
Following the discontinuation of the June Extended Program intake for 2010, IES has now announced that the January Extended Program will not be offered in 2011 and onwards. Note that the minimum IELTS now required for entry to UQFY is 5.5 (required for entry to Standard Programs).
請注意，如果學(xué)生IELTS成績沒到5.5分的話，學(xué)生可以在以下學(xué)校申請語言課程。
1）ICTE-18歲以上學(xué)生在此申請語言課程。
2）Langports English Language College-18歲以下學(xué)生在此申請語言課程。 
提供語言eCoE后，UQ Foundation可以發(fā)package的foundation eCoE。但是學(xué)生需要重新考IELTS，達(dá)到總分5.5單項(xiàng)不低于5分的成績后才能入讀foundation課程。
Please note that it is the responsibility for the student to organize an IELTS test in Brisbane. There can be up to an 10 week delay in sitting for an IELTS test in Brisbane. The IELTS report (Overall 5.5 with NO BAND LOWER THAN 5.0) will need to submitted to us no later than 10 days before the start date of our program (15/02/2010). Failure to provide the IELTS report on time might jeopardize her commencement at UQ Foundation Year. 

3.IELTS考試費(fèi)用漲了。
IELTS Australia has made the decision to increase the IELTS test fee in Australia from $310 AUD (ex GST) to $317 AUD (ex GST) effective 1 July 2010 for all tests conducted after that date.
