美國是傳媒行業(yè)發(fā)展非常發(fā)達(dá)的國家，而且美國的教育也是世界一流的，擁有眾多傳媒專業(yè)的牛校。每年來自世界各地的優(yōu)秀學(xué)生，都會申請這些學(xué)校，競爭這有限的名額。那么，這些傳媒專業(yè)的牛校，他們對學(xué)生最低的錄取條件是怎么樣的，哪個學(xué)校更好申請呢？下面威久留學(xué)美國研究中心對Missouri, University of-Columbia、UCSB、Syracuse University這三所傳媒牛校的官方申請最低要求和一些特殊條件來進(jìn)行分析，從這兩方面來看，評測一下三所學(xué)校申請的難度。

Missouri, University of-Columbia

申請必須提供的材料：

Official undergraduate/graduate transcripts. 

Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores (verbal, quantitative, analytical), taken within the past five years. 

Résumé or Curriculum vitae. 

Three letters of recommendation, which should come from qualified people (former or present instructors) who can attest to your ability to complete graduate study. 

A sample of scholarly writing (e.g., course paper) 

A statement of purpose (no more than 500 words) clearly explaining your interest in pursuing a graduate degree, your intended field of study, your professional goals, and your background.

Missouri, University of-Columbia在美國綜合排名是85，但是它是美國最早成立傳媒學(xué)院的大學(xué)，是傳媒專業(yè)的老牌牛校，非常注重學(xué)術(shù)研究。學(xué)校的研究生錄取最低要求并不高，但是實際的競爭是非常激烈的。傳媒專業(yè)可以提供PHD學(xué)位，而且PHD學(xué)位的畢業(yè)率很高，達(dá)到了91%,遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)超過了平均傳播學(xué)PHD的平均畢業(yè)率。但是PHD只錄取Master學(xué)生，本科畢業(yè)的不能直接申請。研究生學(xué)習(xí)非本專業(yè)的，需要有選修或?qū)W過相關(guān)核心課程，所以對想申請PHD的學(xué)生來說，有一定難度。需要注意的是申請傳媒專業(yè)，最好能夠有相關(guān)工作背景，并且學(xué)校要求提供Writing Sample。

UCSB綜合排名45，傳媒專業(yè)的排名比較高，是加州一所中高檔次的學(xué)校。學(xué)校的TOEFL要求是三所學(xué)校中最低的，如果申請者成績不到600，可以考慮這所學(xué)校。需要注意的是學(xué)校要求申請者畢業(yè)學(xué)校的相關(guān)證明和PS要提供兩份，而且國際申請者要進(jìn)行預(yù)申請，通過了才可以進(jìn)行網(wǎng)申。同時，學(xué)校要求申請分開寄送到兩個地方。另外，學(xué)校不接受紙申，必須填寫網(wǎng)申。G/T成績也要在截至?xí)r間內(nèi)寄送到。接受雅思成績。

Syracuse University

In addition to the completed application form, applicants must submit a personal statement, a resume, two copies of official transcripts from any post-secondary institution in which the applicant earned 12 or more credits, three letters of recommendation, GRE scores (GMAT scores are accepted for applications to the Media Management program), and TOEFL score (if applicable). 

Most students take the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). We require a minimum score of 600 (PBT), 250 (CBT), or 100 (iBT). The average TOEFL score for international students we admit is 640 (PBT score scale). 

We also accept scores from IELTS (International English Language Testing System) in place of the TOEFL. Our minimum requirement is a score of 7.0 on this exam. 

Syracuse University綜合排名50，文科比較出名，學(xué)校有專門的傳媒學(xué)院，Master提供的專業(yè)很多，而且有PHD學(xué)位。學(xué)校的申請最低要求跟Missouri, University of-Columbia差不多。但是學(xué)校的整體實力要高出它一個檔次，而且文科名氣也相對大一些，競爭也會隨之增加。對國際學(xué)生申請要求較高。學(xué)校往年錄取的國際學(xué)生中，TOEFL成績平均要達(dá)到640，國際學(xué)生大約占10-15%，并且錄取的一般都有相關(guān)工作經(jīng)驗。

申請測評：

從三所學(xué)校的檔次來看，UCSB和Syracuse University綜合實力處于一個檔次，但是由于加州牛校過多，UCSB的知名度并不是特別高。相反Syracuse University由于文科比較出名，因此在國內(nèi)學(xué)生中知名度更高一些。而Missouri, University of-Columbia則名氣稍小一些。但是從傳媒專業(yè)上來看，三所學(xué)校都是處于一個水平線的大學(xué)，而且各自有各自的特點(diǎn)。整體實力最低的Missouri, University of-Columbia反而是當(dāng)中最早建立傳媒學(xué)院的大學(xué)，而且非常注重學(xué)術(shù)研究，一直是傳統(tǒng)牛校。Syracuse University大學(xué)也有自己獨(dú)立的傳媒學(xué)院，而且開設(shè)的專業(yè)非常豐富，結(jié)合現(xiàn)在的發(fā)展趨勢，開展了很多新興課程。而UCSB則屬于傳統(tǒng)類型的傳媒專業(yè)，基本都是大眾傳媒相關(guān)的專業(yè)。

從最低申請條件來看，Missouri, University of-Columbia和Syracuse University雖然綜合實力有一定差距，但是MUC由于其傳媒專業(yè)的優(yōu)勢和實力，兩所學(xué)校最低申請要求處于一個檔次。UCSB是三所學(xué)校中；要求最低的一所學(xué)校，而且學(xué)校要求國際學(xué)生要先進(jìn)行預(yù)申，因此，UCSB是一所沖刺非常劃算的學(xué)校，TOEFL要求也低。如果預(yù)申請沒過，不會浪費(fèi)申請費(fèi)，而且知道結(jié)果的時間會比較早。Missouri, University of-Columbia由于學(xué)校的綜合實力和名氣較低，因此，這里也是一個非常好的選擇。Syracuse University對國際學(xué)生要求較高，屬于最難申請的大學(xué)。
